Garmin nüvi 2460LMT 5-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Map & Traffic Updates

I loved my old Garmin StreetPilot 2720. It is old and although I wanted to upgrade to traffic and a battery. After two years, and later GPS units like Garmin, TomTom and Megellan brands, all the units I tried had me crazy with all that some of the features I wanted, but not all.

The Nuvi 2460LMT has almost all the characteristics of the old Streetpilot most coolest things such as voice activation. Now do not even have to touch it to work! Accept that you will spend $ 300.00, but will be happy, I guess. I spent $ 250 and was very disappointed with all GPS units at that time the price of three different manufacturers. I think the extra money gives you a great improvement, you have much more $ 300 you get $ 250.

Note, if you look at the online manual for Garmin, covering the series, 24xx 23xx 22xx e. At first I ordered the 2360LMT and was very disappointed and returned it immediately. The features that I wanted and needed 22xx and 23xx are not series have the manual does not specifically say they are not in each series. Netherlands is the place to provide sufficient details of Garmin.

What I like:

Voice operation works great.
High, clear voice, Garmin highlights here.
Beautiful screen, zoom automatically to speed faster you go, later shown.
The touch screen is excellent.
Very quick in everything he does.
Customizable main menu screen.
Avoid advanced features - allows you to avoid a specific road or place on a route.
A lot of useful features.
Maps of life and traffic.

Cons
Many of the menus can be seen in search of a function to change, but once established will be fine.
The traffic is free, but use the paid ads for the service. The ads are a little larger than I would have seen but are made so they are not too intrusive. They are there when you are moving or using the menus, and well, I'm not paying for the service of traffic, so I'm happy!

My recommendation is this - if you are addicted to GPS, sales representative, professional driver, or speak with your GPS, spend the extra 2460LMT is a major upgrade in units of a few dollars less.

I just ordered a second unit. My wife insisted on updating after playing with my 2460LMT when we go to dinner tonight.
